1. What is Dr. Anna's Acupuncture Facelift?
The combined facelift and necklift treatments use 12 strategically placed needles on the scalp and neck (none on the face), which 3-dimensionally tighten the underlying muscles of the face, neck and chin. Through a series of progressive treatments, patients regain their youthful appearance in a painless and relaxing procedure, at a fraction of the cost of invasive surgery. Dr. Anna's lift only requires a one treatment refresh every 18 months.

2. How does Dr. Anna's Facelift compare to other Surgical and Non-surgical Lifts?
Other non-surgical facelifts, including the standard acupuncture facelift which puts up to 50 needles on the face itself, rely on micro-damaging the muscles to cause collagen to come repair the area. This causes temporary puffing out of lines and wrinkles which goes away as soon as the area has healed. The treatments must be repeated monthly to maintain the effect. Dr. Anna's facelift stimulates all the muscles of the face and neck to tighten progressively back towards their original position and returning the compact proportions of youth.

Surgical lifts pull and stretch the facial muscles to make the face appear shorter and tighter. Implants and fillers try to give the effect of facial contours. The patient loses her real face forever. Dr. Anna's lift returns the face to its actual younger look with none of the dangers or down time of surgery.

3. What if I've already had surgery or Botox?
Even with a surgical lift, you continue to age. The problem is that additional surgeries can give a distorted look due to lose of muscle tone. Dr, Anna can retighten your surgical facelift. The 3-dimensional muscle tightening can restore, contour and build muscle to give a more natural look. You get fuller cheeks, wider eyes and fuller lips (without collagen) with the added bonus of neck retightening. Dr. Anna has also corrected problems with Botox including asymmetries and undesirable results.

4. What are the Stages of Facial Aging?
The human face begins to age in the late 20's and early 30's. The signs are very slight at first. As the muscle fibers start to lose their tone, they expand, and the face begins to grow in size and appear puffy. This puffing out continues steadily into the 40's when the face begins to get a wider appearance. In the 50's the face continues to get larger, droopier and flatter with the appearance of small jowls. The continuing lose of muscle tone into the 60's causes slumping of the cheeks, increased lines and folds with a deteriorating jawline and neck. In the 70's and 80's the features become more sunken with heavier wrinkling.

The lips also change dramatically over time. The upper lip first loses its peaks and begins flattening. As aging continues, it starts turning under and becomes increasingly thinner. The lower lip loses its tight consolidation and becomes fuller and protruding.

5. How many Treatments will I need?
Dr. Anna requires a minimum of 10 treatments as a first package which will noticeably change all the areas of your face and neck. Additional treatments will continue the tightening and sculpting process. Dr. Anna will provide a detailed facial analysis that will guide you in selecting the results you want.

6. How often can I have Treatments?
Dr. Anna's facelift does not require a set interval for treatments. Dr. Anna has documented that you can get the same results doing multiple treatments in one day or spacing your treatments out over several weeks or months. You can make your own schedule.

7. What Results can I get that No One Else can give me?
You will get back your own wider open eyes, a flattened brow line, sculpted cheekbones, full lips, a small compact face (which makes you look like you lost weight), a firm jawline and a tight chin and neck. All results are fully documented with pictures.

8. What if I'm afraid of needles?
Dr. Anna specializes in giving a pain free treatment. She uses the thinnest needles available today which are the width of a human hair and inserts them only 1/16th of an inch. Patients usually fall asleep during the treatment. Everyone is pleasantly surprised to find it is so relaxing. Many say they feel like they have had a massage.

9. What does this cost?
The initial 10 treatment package is $1050 prepaid. After the first 10 treatments you can purchase individual treatments for $105 or buy additional discounted packages.
